Danila Dilba Health Service is a not for profit organisation incorporated under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act).
DDHS’ purpose is to improve the physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and social wellbeing of the Biluru community of the Yilli Rreung region by providing innovative comprehensive primary health care programs, community services and advocacy that are based on the principles of equity, access, empowerment, community self-determination and collaboration. It is accountable to its members, clients and stakeholders.
The DDHS Board is required to meet every three months. It is scheduled to meet in 2022 on the following dates:
The Audit and Risk Management Committee meets at least quarterly and usually two weeks prior to a board meeting.
An Annual General Meeting must be held every year by the end of November.
