Established in 1991, Danila Dilba Health Services (DDHS) is a not-for-profit, Aboriginal community-controlled organisation that is committed to providing culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care services and community development within the Biluru (Aboriginal) community of the Yilli Rreung (Greater Darwin) region in the Norther Territory.

We are focused on acute care, immunisation, chronic disease management, women’s health, men’s health, child and maternal health and sexual health.

We also provide a range of community programs in areas including health promotion, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, and alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the needs of our organisation. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying staffing needs to conducting interviews and onboarding new employees. The Recruitment Officer will collaborate closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process that aligns with the company's goals and values. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Talent sourcing and acquisition to meet organisational recruitment needs.
  • Management of recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders ensures a seamless process aligned with company goals and values.
  • Screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and maintain a positive candidate experience to promote the employer brand.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication, timely feedback, and assistance throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Track recruitment metrics and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimise the recruitment process.

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) be submitted.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
